Little Engineer Winter Camp

Little Engineer Winter Camp

Winter Camp

Inculcate in your child the hands on, minds on learning approach by introducing them to the world of Robotics, Coding, Electronics, 3D printing & more with the help of world class products like LEGO Mindstorms Education EV3, littleBits electronic building blocks, DREMEL Dreams 3D printer, Lily Pad etc.

For over 25 years Edutech is a leader in hands on learning and STEM(Science Technology Engineering and Math). We are authorized partners for LEGO Education, Vernier Digital Science Labs, littleBits and various world leading STEM platforms in India.

Junior Batch

  • Age Group : 5-9 yrs
  • Dates : 23rd – 25th Dec | 28th – 30th Dec
  • 3 Days Winter Camp
  • Time : 10 AM – 12 PM | 1 PM – 3 PM
  • Fees : 1500
  • 6 Hours Program
Subject Description Learning Outcome
DAY 1
Robotics & Coding
Robotics will be taught using 2 World Class Platforms • A Robotic Set designed to enhance student’s skills in science, engineering, and technology. • A robotic ball gaming device that you control with a tilt, touch, or swing of your smartphone or tablet. And also, it can be programmed with Tynker GUI software. •Investigating, Modelling, Designing solutions. •Advanced programming skills. •Kids can relate their learning skill with academic subjects like Biology, physics, science and Math. •Learn about gyro & tilt sensor and its real-time application.
DAY 2
Block Printing
•Block printing method of printing cotton cloth and paper hangings with colors, by pressing them upon an engraved surface coated with coloring matter. •This process involves sketching and carving a design into a block of wood, applying ink or dye, and stamping it onto a finished cloth •In this session, participants will learn that plants are a source of natural dyes and paints. Students will dye & print their own scarf/TShirt. •The art of making natural dyes is an excellent way to teach history and science while engaging children in a fun, hands-on activity.
DAY 3
Sewing Circuits
•Lily Pad is an electronic-sewable system for creating e-textiles projects with an electronic twist, which are often wearable, flexible projects that look less like traditional electronics and more like craft and art projects •Creating Sewing circuits is a good way to teach the basics of electricity and how circuits function. •In addition to being educational, they can also be a fun makerspace project that helps to bring artwork and paper craft to life. •These simple projects are great for all ages and all makerspaces.

Senior Batch

  • Age Group : 10-16 yrs
  • Dates : 23rd – 25th Dec | 28th – 30th Dec
  • 3 Days Winter Camp
  • Time : 3:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Fees : 1500
  • 6 Hours Program
Subject Description Learning Outcome
DAY 1
Robotics & Coding
Robotics will be taught using 2 World Class Platforms - Build, program, and test their solutions based on real-life robotics technology. - A robotic ball gaming device that you control with a tilt, touch, or swing of your smartphone or tablet. And also it can be programmed with Tynker GUI software. •Design and build programmable robots using high quality motors, sensors, gears, wheels, axles and other technical components •Use input and output devices to produce simple sequences and commands linking cause and effect •Integrate math and science using physical constraints, units of measurement, coordinate systems, min, max, mean and linear
DAY 2
3D designing & 3D Printing
Designing the 3D models with CAD software, where in child gets to learn entire process of Designing, Printing, Finishing, Testing and Redesigning. • Intro to 3D Design & 3D Printing; 3D Sketching; Design a simple object using Tinker CAD and 3D Printing your model
DAY 3
Electronic Circuits
Color coded magnetic bits which can be snapped together to construct circuits in seconds. It will help the child understand the concepts of electronic circuits and their usage in day to day life. •Smart home Automation, Internet of Things and Cloud Technology • IOT using Cloud Bit •Wireless Technology.
