Control and Instrumentation engineering focuses in designing, developing, installing, managing and/or maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering systems, machinery and processes. Engineers specialized under Control and Instrumentation need a thorough understanding of the operational processes of an organization. They must have a multidisciplinary role, working closely with colleagues across a number of functions, including operations, purchasing and design.

Real Time Control System Hardware and software with Matlab

To introduce the concept of real-time control with real-time programming in a feedback-control laboratory course, a commercial software tool for a real-time operating system is adopted. Instead of using convenient graphical programming and automatic code generation methods, students in this course are required to write programs using Matlab Simulink language to control and monitor analog dynamic simulators and experimental plants.

Advanced Control Systems (Repeat)

The primary purpose of a Control Systems Lab laboratory is to facilitate the general areas of systems and control. This lab concentrates on nonlinear control systems, robust control, sampled-data control (linear and nonlinear), multirate systems, real-time computer control systems, fault detections and fault tolerant control.

Advanced Haptics Lab

Haptics Laboratory is an engineering research laboratory that performs fundamental research in the domains of telerobotics, mechatronics, haptics and human-robot interaction. The Haptics Laboratory work on the engineering and design of haptic interfaces, that is, of systems which comprise software and hardware components that concern the sense of touch. We work on on-line computational models of interaction between objects (deformation, friction, cutting) which can provide high-fidelity simulations as needed, for example, in the construction of surgical simulators. We are also interested in the study of perceptual effects involving touch, and to take advantage of them to create devices, visualization methods, and tactile displays. The laboratory was involved in exciting applications including rehabilitation, operator assistance in space, medecine, and computer music performance.

Robotics Lab (Repeat)

Robotics lab aims to work on the problems and innovative projects that extend the state of the art in robotics. Edutech provides robotics solutions for various multiple domains of robotics like Multi-robotic systems, Mobile robot navigation and planning, Force control of legged vehicles, Robot Vision

Mechatronics Lab

The Mechatronics Lab provides state of the art facilities and experimental setups to learn and enjoy the field of mechatronics. Modern society depends on mechatronic-based systems for modern conveniences. From intelligent appliances to safety features in cars such as air bags, and antilock brakes, mechatronic systems are widely used in everyday life. An Edutech Lab solution focuses on creating practical engineering solutions by integrating sensors and microcontrollers in to various applications.

Virtual Lab

It is quite difficult to perform real time experiments in some specialized areas of engineering, which require sophisticated equipment and skilled manpower. A virtual laboratory enables a chance to perform experiments using the internet and visual aids without having the equipment at their end. Edutech Virtual lab provides a unique opportunity to boost the quality of engineering education, deepen understanding, and provide the necessary practical skills to young minds through cost effective outreach and distance learning activities.
